Preparing for your appt

Who needs to be present?

Unless you've made other arrangements, if their name is on the Deed, they need to be present to sign. 

Even though you may have provided it before, please have an enlarged Xerox copy of one Type A ID and one Type B ID, for all signers (front side only).  Please have a copy at the signing  appointment.

Type A ID - Choose One   

  • Unexpired State Drivers License

  • Unexpired State ID Non Drivers Card

  • Unexpired Passport

  • Military ID Card

  • US Alien Registration Card

  • Unexpired Canadian Driver License

Type B ID  - Choose One

  • Social Security Card

  • Property Tax Bill (can be found online) 

  • Voter Registration Card

  • Paycheck stub with name

  • Most Recent W-2

  • Home/car/renter insurance papers

  • Recent utility bill

Your Proceeds 🏦

If you are receiving cash back from your loan and want to have your money directly deposited into your account, please provide a

voided check.

Otherwise your 

proceeds will be 

mailed to you. 👍

✔️Check Your Email

  • Check your email to see if you need to e-sign (sign documents on your computer) any documents. 
    If this applies to you, please complete the e-sign, a day or so before our appointment.
     

  • Check your email for the
    Closing Disclosure which outlines the details of your loan.  If you have questions, contact your loan officer, prior to the appointment.  

As a Notary Signing agent, legally we are limited as to what we can explain. So work with your loan officer to get your questions answered, prior to our appointment.
